Britnie Banks is drawn to the liminal — the vibration within the stillness that invites audiences to lean in. As an actor, she brings a sharp emotional range and a dry comedic edge to roles that blur humor and ache. Her storytelling extends beyond performance into writing and producing, where each project is treated as a world to be built, not just a story to be told.

She trained in improv at Upright Citizens Brigade and The Second City before producing with Come What May Productions, working alongside top industry talent in film and television. This is where the beginning threads of CICADA started to weave. Today, she continues to write and produce stories through film, television, and multidimensional expression that amplify the voices in our community.

Ya know, Britnie, you’re VERY funny. Your jokes are dry, your timing is spot on, and even though most of the time I don’t follow your A-C, I trust you.”
